Created for mindful consumers that care about health, alcohol consumption and the environment, Whisp is plastic-free, plant-based and climate positive. 

Whisp is currently available in two tempting flavours that reflect our naturally sourced, British ingredients: Cucumber & Mint and Raspberry & Elderflower. Each can contains less than 66 calories, with no sugar, sweeteners or nasty additives. We even add milk thistle, our detox hero, to tackle inflammation and help support a healthy liver.

Whisp is a born disruptor, speaking to a new spirit among consumers. We encourage responsible drinking and a responsibility to the planet we live on, without compromising experiences.

We believe in karma, so we tread lightly – our cans are 100% recyclable, we don’t use any plastic packaging and we’re made in the UK to keep our carbon footprint down. Only British natural ingredients are used, sustainably sourced wherever possible, and we’re vegan.

Hard seltzers are big business

You may have heard whispers of the new hard seltzer category- it’s currently fairly small in the UK, but growing rapidly. Already a hit in the States, last year 52% of Americans swapped a beer for a hard seltzer and 40% chose it over a cocktail.

2020 sales of hard seltzer in the US are estimated to hit $4.3bn – a 270% increase from 2019, and is forecasted to triple by 2023. With these figures in mind, it is unsurprising the IWSR predicts that hard seltzer will likely witness the highest growth rate within the UK’s Ready to Drink (RTD) category, with a forecast volume compound annual growth rate (CAGR )of 71.7% from 2019 to 2024.

We plant 12 trees a month for every Whisp team member – a long-term pledge to be climate positive. At the moment we’re a team of 2, so 288 trees will be planted, saving 28 tonnes of CO2!

Whisp are proud to partner with The Drinks Trust, supporting their incredible work providing care and assistance to the drinks industry workforce. It is a cause particularly close to Harriet’s heart, having worked in the hospitality industry for over 7 years, and witnessed their work first hand.

The hospitality and drinks industry employs 1.2 million people in the UK, and is one of the industries hardest hit by the pandemic. The Drinks Trust supports the emerging and long-term effects of the current situation, focusing on mental health and assisting people to live a constructive and healthy life in these times of uncertainty.
